Of all the problems that we are currently facing, diabetes is the last thing we need in our lives. Apart from being a chronic health condition that changes how our bodies work, diabetes has no cure and can only be managed once a proper diagnosis has been made.
The sad reality is that some people may already have it, but they are not aware that they do. If left untreated or mismanaged, the worst that could happen from diabetes complications is getting blind or having one (or both) of your legs amputated. Needless to say, the long-term effects are debilitating, if not, life-threatening, especially if it is not managed properly and consistently from the beginning.
