Yes. Our syringes come in a variety of sizes to allow you to find the one best suited for your comfort and needs.
What is Luer Lock technology?
The Luer Lock is a standardized fitting for syringes to make leak-free connections between the syringe and the needle. It’s one of the most common types of locks most syringes use today. You just need to twist the needle onto the syringe to lock it in place.
What is Luer Slip technology?
The Luer Slip is a standardized fitting for syringes to make leak-free connections between the syringe and the needle. It’s one of the most common types of locks most syringes use today. You just need to push the needle in place to secure a tight fit.
Can these syringes be reused?
No. We strongly recommend not to reuse the syringes if you use them to administer fluids orally or for injections. They are only sterile the first time they're used.
Is the syringe Latex-free?
Yes. These syringes do not contain natural rubber latex. They are also pyrogen-free and BPA-free.
What is the difference between an insulin syringe and a pen needle?
While both of them are both methods to reliably administer insulin, using an insulin syringe is often considered an easy, quick, and intuitive method, that is quite cheaper than using a pen needle.
Why do syringes and needles have expiration dates?
These dates indicate until when the syringe or needle is guaranteed to remain sterile as long as the protective cover is not damaged. The manufacturer does not guarantee its sterility after this date.
Can I use these with a needle?
Yes. The Luer Taper Technology (Slip or Lock) will ensure that the fitting is tight and leak-free.
What are the types of syringes offered at Care Touch?
Care Touch syringes come in several variations: Luer lock, Luer slip, oral, catheter tip, and dental irrigation syringes.
Does the syringe come with needles?
We have syringes that don't have needles attached, and we have syringes that come with needles. Hypodermic needles are also sold separately if you only need needles.
